MANILA -- Various parts of the country will experience warm and humid conditions due to two weather systems.

According to ABS-CBN resident meteorologist Ariel Rojas, the Northeasterly winds and the Easterlies will prevail for most parts of the week.

The Northeasterly winds will blow over Northern Luzon through Friday.

This will bring light to occasionally moderate rains over Batanes, Babuyan, Apayao, Cagayan, and Isabela.

The Easterlies, on the other hand, will dominate the rest of the country.

This will bring humid weather with intense afternoon thunderstorms over Northern Luzon, Western Visayas, and Mindanao at the start and end of the week. 

Metro Manila will remain mostly cloudy on Monday, sunny and hot for the remainder of the week, with chances of thunderstorm Friday through the weekend.

There is a low chance that a weather disturbance will form within the week.
