MANILA — A low pressure area (LPA) formed inside the Philippine area of responsibility on Tuesday afternoon, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

The LPA was spotted 905 kilometers east of southeastern Mindanao at 3 p.m.

The weather bureau said the LPA was unlikely to form into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours.
