A total of 4 different weather systems is affecting different parts of the country Monday, weather bureau PAGASA said.

The shear line continues to affect the eastern section of northern Luzon while the northeast monsoon is affecting extreme Northern Luzon Monday, PAGASA weather forecaster Ana Clauren-Jorda said. 

Batanes, Cagayan and Apayao will experience cloudy skies with rains due to the amihan while Isabela and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.

Palawan, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the intertropical convergence zone while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. 

Jorda said Metro Manila will experience cooler weather later this week due to the northeast monsoon.
