Rain continues to pour on pedestrians and motorists near EDSA in Quezon City on September 4, 2024, hours after tropical storm Enteng exited the Philippine area of responsibility. <p>MANILA -- Northern and Central Luzon will experience moderate rains this week due to Amihan or the northeast monsoon, according to the state weather bureau.</p><p>PAGASA said the Amihan surge on Monday and Friday which will affect Northern and Central Luzon, particularly Cordillera and Cagayan Valley, the entire week.</p><p>Southern Luzon will be affected by a shear line, the convergence of the northeast monsoon and the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.</p><p>This means widespread moderate to heavy rains over Bicol, eastern CALABARZON, and northern MIMAROPA beginning Monday.
