PAGASA warned that moderate to heavy rains may cause flash floods or landslides on vulnerable locations.

It also said that the LPA has a low chance of intensifying into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the shear line, where cold and humid air masses converge, is also likely to bring scattered rains and thunderstorms in Metro Manila, Bicol Region, Calabarzon, Eastern Visayas, and the rest of Mimaropa, the state weather bureau explained.

Over in northern Luzon, the amihan or the northeast monsoon is expected to cause cloudy skies with light rains in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.
