A low pressure area formerly named Querubin may reintensify into a tropical depression in the next 24 hours, weather bureau PAGASA said early Thursday.

At 3 a.m, the LPA (formerly Querubin) was estimated based on all available data at 245 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.

Meanwhile, the shear line is affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon while the northeast monsoon is affecting the rest of Luzon.

Eastern Visayas and Caraga will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA while the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA.

Bicol Region and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the shear line.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon. 

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
