Phone brand nubia unveils their Neo 3 series in an event launch in Manila after the success of the Neo 2 series. Mark Demayo, ABS-CBN News 

MANILA — Chinese smartphone brand nubia released the third iteration of their gaming-focused Neo Series, featuring the Neo 3, Neo 3 5G and the Neo 3 GT.

The budget gaming phone series was launched in a mall event and showcased in a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang community match between selected attendees and M6 Champions ONIC Philippines.

The Neo 3 series comes after the success of the Neo 2 series last year according to Gavin Lian, ZTE Philippines' General Manager for Terminals.

"Because once we shipped it here in the Philippines, just one week or two weeks it goes out of stock. So that's why we have the confidence for this year we launched the Neo3 series," Lian said on the sideline of the product launch.

With high demand for their flagship Red Magic gaming phones, the Neo series is an alternative for those who want to enjoy some of the flagship's features on a budget such as the air triggers and cooling system, Lian adds.

"Actually, there are a lot of customers who want to enjoy the game. But they want to have the shooter trigger, have the cooling system like the Red Magic. But sometimes they don't have enough budget to buy the Red Magic. That's why we have the Neo series to meet the other requirements of the customers."

Aside from the mentioned gaming shoulder triggers, the series features AI optimizations such as their NeoTurbo AI Engine and AI Frame Rate Stabilization for better gaming.

Other hardware shared between the series is a 6000mAh battery with bypass charging, which draws direct power from the charger, an 6.8-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a triple AI camera system.

The nubia Neo 3 4G is priced at P7,999, the nubia Neo 3 5G at P9,999, and the nubia Neo 3 GT at P12,999.
