MANILA -- Canva has launched an AI-powered spreadsheet, which the company says will help boost the design process.

At an event in Los Angeles, Canva unveiled its Sheets feature, which allows users to look at data, text, and visual assets in a single spreadsheet. Canva Sheets works with a feature called Magic Insights, which scans data sets to emphasize key patterns and takeaways.

The Magic Studio at Scale function of Sheets, meanwhile, helps users create a large number of graphics in a few seconds. The Magic Charts feature, meanwhile, lets users quickly make graphs or charts.

"With Canva sheets, we've unlocked content at scale, and that's extraordinarily powerful for marketers and sales professionals," said co-founder and chief executive officer Melanie Perkins.

Aside from the Sheets feature, the online design platform also launched Canva AI, which allows users to instruct Canva to come up with an image using voice commands.

Finally, Canva Code allows users to create interactive content for websites and presentations.

"If they're an aspiring entrepreneur who wants to create a product or an app, they can actually start prototyping it in Canva Code and get a feel for what it is they actually want to build before they need to take it to a team," said chief product officer Cameron Adams.
