Based on Opensignal's October 2024 Mobile Network Experience report, DITO dominated the awards and won in 14 categories, exemplifying the young telco as the most awarded and fastest 5G speeds and overall experience by Opensignal.

In terms of speed, DITO sweeps all four speed awards across overall and 5G. DITO confirms its superiority in 5G download speed, boasting a speed of 287.2 Mbps, nearly double its competitor's figure trailing with 147.5 Mbps and easily surpassing another competitor which had 95.2 Mbps.

Users also see the fastest overall download speeds on DITO's network at 34.6 Mbps with its competitors behind at 28.6 Mbps and 20.9 Mbps, respectively.

"Our Filipino users enjoy the fastest speeds on DITO's network," said Pierce Snyder, Sr. Market Research Analyst at Opensignal. Moreover, Opensignal hailed DITO as the No. 1 mobile network for overall and 5G Video Experience, Games Experience, and Voice App Experience by Opensignal.

These awards measure how subscribers enjoy seamless standard-definition video streaming, gaming, and quality over-the-top (OTT) voice services.

To cap it off, DITO received massive recognition from Opensignal for its availability, quality, and reliability- a validation of DITO's promise to provide accessible, reliable, and inclusive high-speed connectivity.

Opensignal also recognized DITO as the Philippines' Most Available Mobile Network, both overall and 5G, Most Consistent Network Quality, and Most Reliable Network.

"DITO accumulates the most awards in this report," Snyder said. "Having launched commercial services in March 2021, DITO now dominates the mobile network experience landscape," Snyder added.
