MANILA — Authorities in Sorsogon said on Wednesday no incidents were recorded after Tuesday night's Mount Bulusan eruption but smoke was seen coming from the volcano itself.

"So far wala naman pong [insidente] after nung kagabi na pagbuga niya, but kaninang medyo maganda 'yung visual natin, parang may umuusok. According to Phivolcs is normal daw 'yun," PDRRMO Sorsogon chief Engr. Raden Dimaano said in an interview with TeleRadyo Serbisyo's Johnson Ikwento Mo.

According to the official, residents of Irosin were evacuated since there were residents who were pregnant, newborn, and elderly in the area who may be affected by the ash it spewed last night.
