Three soldiers assigned to the Philippine Army's 18th Infantry Battalion were ambushed by unidentified gunmen in Barangay Lahi Lahi, Tuburan, Basilan on Friday, the military said.

The Army's 18th IB, in a statement said the victims were traveling on two motorcycles from the Dugaa Patrol Base to the Charlie Company Command Post when they were attacked.
