Malacanang Palace has declared special non-working holidays in 13 cities and municipalities in the provinces for the month of April.

The government proclamations declaring the holidays were posted in the Official Gazette of the Philippines. 

The holidays cover the following cities and municipalities:

April 1 (Tuesday)

Non-working holiday, Municipality of Agdangan, Quezon Province (founding anniversary)

Non-working holiday, Municipality of Balangiga, Eastern Samar (founding anniversary)

Non-working holiday, Municipality of Rizal, Occidental Mindoro (founding anniversary) 

Non-working holiday, Municipality of Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro (founding anniversary)

April 4 (Friday)

Non-working holiday, Municipality of Laak, Davao de Oro (founding anniversary)

April 7 (Monday)

Non-working holiday, Mountain Province (founding anniversary)

April 11 (Friday)

Non-working holiday, Municipality of Dolores, Quezon Province (founding anniversary)

April 23 (Wednesday) 

Non-working holiday, Municipality of Plaridel, Bulacan (Battle of Quingua)
