It's the day before Valentine's and it's just as good a time as any to hard-launch your relationship with bae.

Perfectly fine to do it at a candle-lit restaurant in matching outfits, of course, but that's pretty cliché, if we're being honest. The noise and stress of being in a crowded place won't win you brownie points, and blurry photos in the dark don't exactly lend themselves well for the 'gram.

No, what you want is something different. Something subtle but thoughtful. Something that shows just because it's free doesn't mean it's cheap.

You play your cards right and you can do that at Kariktan ng Meycauayan Eco Park. A commute away from the metro, the park has several attractions to add that "estetik" element to your relationship reveal.

If hard launching is an art, then you and boo can make the park your canvas. From the get-go, the first thing that greets you is the bamboo pavilion where guests register to enter. Feel free to write little hearts beside your names 'cause you're that much in love.

A few meters away, there's the swing made from vines of the big rubber tree. The whole setup is just begging for a couple pic. Some would say "omg pre-nup vibes," but no. You guys want to take it slow; perfection takes time after all.

There's also a playground where kids can run and play. It's nice, but you know what you have isn't puppy love and you're not the type to play around.

Near that is the open amphitheater. Nice, wide open space to just sit down, smell the grass, and watch people. Of course, deep inside you'd rather just look at your main squeeze all day long. Snap a photo while you're at it.

Various animals are also kept in the park, even fish, on the man-made pond that you two lovebirds can cross on a bamboo bridge.

The piece de resistance though, is the bamboo tunnel. Time it just right, and rays of sunshine filter through gaps in the tunnel making for that perfect scene straight out of a movie. Keep in mind though that the park closes for lunch between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the weekdays but is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends.

Further down, there's a picnic area. Hot take, but a picnic under the trees isn't cheesy, it's classic. Make sure to pack up your trash after, though. Wouldn't want to ruin the park for others.

With a bit of work, some creative shots, and a lot of romance, you're ready to mark your love that's (thankfully) not as permanent as a tattoo, but much more boss than changing your social media bio to "in a relationship."
