Alawihao, Daet, Camarines NorteThe suspects, identified only by their aliases “Ani” and “Anne,” both 25 years old and residents of the Urban Poor Subdivision, were caught during a synchronized entrapment operation led by a team from the Camarines Norte Provincial Cyber Response-Regional Cybercrime Unit Bicol (PCRT-RACU5).Authorities moved in after confirming that the suspects were offering dental services without the necessary licenses or professional qualifications.The suspects are charged with violating the Philippine Dental Act of 2007 for the unauthorized practice of dentistry and violating the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, as the illegal services were reportedly promoted through online platforms.The operation was the result of a coordinated effort between the Daet Municipal Police and members of the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) – Camarines Norte Chapter.In a press release, Camarines Norte Police Provincial Office (CNPPO) said, &#x27;the PNP remains steadfast in its commitment to uphold the rule of law and protect the welfare of the public from unauthorized practitioners who put lives at risk&#x27;.
