#WalangPasok: Class suspensions on Monday, July 7

(UPDATED) Local government units in several areas in the country have declared a suspension of classes this Monday (July 7, 2025) in anticipation of the re-entry of Typhoon Bising.

The weather disturbance is expected to enhance the southwest monsoon or Habagat which will bring rains to the affected areas.

LGUs in the following provinces have already made their announcements as a precautionary measure:

llocos Sur -- All levels, public and private schools and work in government offices

Ilocos Norte -- Kindergarten and elementary, private and public

Bauang, La Union -- All levels, public and private

Aringay, La Union -- All levels, public and private 

Basista, Pangasinan -- Elementary to High School, public and private  

Lingayen, Pangasinan -- All levels, public and private

Sta. Maria, Pangasinan -- All levels, public and private

Masantol, Pampanga -- All levels, public and private

Palauig, Zambales -- All levels, public and private
