MANILA -- The driver who figured in a deadly crash at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 that killed two persons, including a 4-year-old girl, underwent medical examination on Sunday.

Police arrested the driver and he will undergo inquest proceedings on Monday at the Pasay City Prosecutors Office.

The driver claimed he started his vehicle after dropping off a passenger when a sedan passed in front of him. This supposedly caused the suspect to forget to transfer his foot to the brake pedal, leading to the crash.
