MANILA – Motorists can look forward to an oil price rollback seen to take effect on the first week of May, based on the trading days this week.

The following price adjustments are expected on Tuesday, May 6:

Gasoline   - P0.40-P0.60/L ⬇️

Diesel       - P0.60-P0.80/L ⬇️

Kerosene - P0.80-P1.00/L ⬇️

The fear among market analysts that the excess crude inventory in the US may lead to a surplus in petroleum products has influenced the decrease.

Saudia Arabia also announced it is willing to add oil output.

This marks the first rollback after two consecutive weeks of fuel price increase. — with a report from Alvin Elchico, ABS-CBN News
