MANILA — The International Criminal Court (ICC) Pre-Trial Chamber 1 has granted the application of the prosecution team to extend the deadline for submission of various documents in relation to the case of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Duterte was surrendered to the ICC at The Hague, Netherlands on March 14 and the pre-trial chamber initially set the deadline to "disclose the materials underlying the Warrant of Arrest" by March 21. It was eventually moved to May 9.
