According to her counsel, Atty. Joel Aspiras, the dismissal was based on procedural grounds, as the complainants failed to file the case with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) prior to bringing it directly to the prosecutor’s office.

The court’s decision was released on April 24, offering a sense of relief to Quinto, who has faced public scrutiny since the complaints were filed.
