Raphael Bosano, ABS-CBN News.MANILA — Incumbent Las Piñas City Councilor Mark Anthony Santos is currently on pace to win his bid for Congress against Senator Cynthia Villar.

According to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) vote counts as of May 12, 2025, at 10:37 p.m. (73.7%), Santos (NPC) has received 114,491 votes.

Villar (Nacionalista Party), on the other hand, is currently at No.2 in the city with 82,703 votes.

The senator’s daughter, Camille Villar, previously held Las Piñas’ lone seat in the congress.

Meanwhile, April and Imelda Aguilar are expected to continue to lead Las Piñas City as they currently post wide distances over their respective opponents.

The daughter-and-mother tandem of April and Imelda (NPC) currently has 123,332 and 129,877 votes, also as of May 12, 2025, at 10:37 p.m. (73.7%).

These were enough for the Aguilars to dominate the Villar-led Nacionalista Party mayoral bet Carlo Aguilar — April’s cousin — who currently has 84,082 votes, and vice mayoral bet Louie Bustamante, who has 70,436 votes.

April and Imelda also won during the 2022 elections but in reverse roles.
