Ibinasura na ng pamahalaan ng Qatar ang kasong illegal assembly laban sa 17 Pinoy dahil sa umano'y paglahok sa isang ilegal na political rally noong nakaraang buwan. Ayon kay Palace press officer Undersecretary Claire Castro, personal na ipinaabot ni Qatar Ambassador to the Philippines Ahmed Saad Al-homidi ang impormasyon kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. TV Patrol, Lunes, 7 Abril 2025.
