MANILA — Filipinos who cannot make it to Rome can still pay their last respects to Pope Francis, who is set to be laid to rest on Saturday. 

Pope Francis's funeral set for Saturday, world leaders expected

A funeral liturgy will be presided over by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals, at St. Peter's Square at 4 p.m. in Manila (10 a.m. in Rome). 

The coffin will then be taken back inside before they bring it to Rome's Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore for burial.
