MANILA -- Nine administration bets continue to occupy spots in the projected "winner's circle" of the senatorial race this May 2025 elections, according to the latest survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations.

Based on the survey commissioned by the Stratbase Group, with less than a month remaining before the midterm polls Senator Bong Go has emerged as the frontrunner with 45% of respondents expressing support -- an increase of three percentage points from the previous month.

Senator Bong Revilla and broadcaster Ben Tulfo tied in the 7th and 8th spots, each garnering 31%. Notably, Ben Tulfo dropped from his previous 3rd to 4th place ranking after a 3-point decline in support.

“Their incumbency and strong name recall -- often built over the years in public office or media exposure -- keep them top-of-mind for voters. Access to government machinery and well-organized local networks amplifies their visibility and reach, especially in the provinces, while media leverage, particularly among candidates with broadcasting backgrounds, ensures sustained exposure across platforms,” he explained.
“Their incumbency and strong name recall -- often built over the years in public office or media exposure -- keep them top-of-mind for voters.
