The Department of Public Works and Highways will implement 24-hour road repairs in several areas of Metro Manila during the Holy Week break.

DPWH-National Capital Region director Loleta Malaluan said the repairs will focus on 30 sections in Quezon City, Malabon, Caloocan, Makati and Pasig City.

“Karamihan dito ay magsasagawa ng re-blocking, line canal at sidewalk. May gagawin din sa ilang flyover dito sa EDSA. Papalitan 'yung expansion joint ng tulay. Kasama ito sa retrofitting program sa mga tulay at flyover sa bahagi ng EDSA,” Malaluan said in a TeleRadyo Serbisyo interview.

Flyovers that will undergo repair include Magallanes – EDSA Flyover Northbound, C5 Ortigas Flyover southbound, Ortigas C5 Interchange, and Kamuning EDSA Flyover.

The repairs will begin at 11pm on April 16 and will continue until 5am of April 21.

Remaining repairs will be scheduled every weekend from April 25 to 28; May 2 to 5; May 9 to 12; May 16 to 19; May 23 to 26; until May 30 to June 2, 2025, according to DPWH-NCR.
