“Opo, nagkaroon po ito ng commendation at sila po talaga ay pinarangalan po dahil sa kanilang napakatapang na pagsagupa dito sa kanilang obligation at sa kanilang duty po. Kaya po ang lahat na nanggaling at tumulong sa Myanmar, kayo po ay aming pinasasalamatan. Kapuri-puri ang inyong mga ginawa,” Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said in a Malacanang briefing.

The Philippine humanitarian team composed of 89 personnel from various government agencies and the private returned to the Philippines Sunday night following the completion of its mission in Myanmar, which was hit by a recent 7.7 magnitude earthquake that killed more than 3,600 people.
