The Philippine Inter-Agency Humanitarian Contingent (PIAHC) is returning home Sunday night following the completion of its mission in earthquake-hit Myanmar.

The team provided essential support after the recent 7.7 magnitude earthquake that killed more than 3,600 in Myanmar.

The contingent, composed of 89 personnel from various agencies, will arrive in the Philippines with a formal welcome ceremony scheduled at Villamor Air Base to honor their service.

The team includes members from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), Philippine Air Force (PAF), Philippine Army (PA), Department of Health - Philippine Emergency Medical Assistance Team (PEMAT), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Department of Environment and Natural Resources Emergency Response Team (DENR ERT), Energy Development Corporation and Apex Mining Co., Inc.
