According to Comelec spokesperson Atty. John Rex Laudiangco, NTSC will start to operate on May 2 and its first job will be the final testing and sealing of the Automated Counting Machines (ACMs).

Laudiangco said NTSC will receive calls not from the general public but mainly from the technical personnel of the agency and technical staff of different embassies and Philippine consulates abroad that will encounter any technical problems during the conduct the election.
