MANILA – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Wednesday launched its “LottoMatik” device as it sought to make lotto tickets and games accessible and available even in remote areas in the country.

PCSO General Manager Mel Robles said the agency sought to distribute an initial 3,000 point-of-sale devices nationwide and would be available in existing sari-sari stores, pawnshops, and other small-scale businesses.

The PCSO official said LottoMatik will just complement the over 6,000 Lotto outlets around the Philippines, as the program’s main goal is to reach areas that do not have these outlets.
