MANILA — Several senatorial candidates for the May 2025 elections barnstormed various areas in the country as part of their campaign activities Saturday, March 29.

Gabriela Party-list Rep. Arlene Brosas continued her "grassroots campaign" in Quezon City.

She visited a public housing community in Barangay Marilag, where she committed to push for more government funding to "ensure decent and affordable mass housing for poor Filipino families".

1-Rider Party-list Rep. Bonifacio Bosita meanwhile held a motorcade in Roxas City in Capiz as he vowed to push for laws that will uplift Filipinos.

Atty. Luke Espiritu for his part attended an Inter-Faith Prayer Rally for a Clean and Orderly Elections in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

Meanwhille, former Sen. Kiko Pangilinan met with barangay leaders in Sorsogon City.

He also urged the government to provide a P500-million to P1-billion calamity or disaster fund to help address the oversupply of rice and reduce food prices in the market.

Re-electionist Sen. Francis Tolentino of the administration slate also met with local leaders in Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur where he underscored the importance of understanding and unity among Filipinos to surpass hurdles that the country is facing.

While Duterte-backed PDP laban bet Atty. Raul Lambino held a motorcade from Pangasinan to La Union as he continued to advocate for the release and return of former President Rodrigo Duterte to the Philippines.
