"Fortunately, walang Filipinos living in high-rise apartments. Kasi Bangkok, kahapon medyo chaotic after the earthquake. People were on the streets, and they’ll be told not to enter the high buildings while they make sure that they’re sound. Structure-ready. Filipinos don’t live in those places. And Myanmar, they mostly live in Yangon or Naypyidaw and that’s far from the epicenter," De Vega told ABS-CBN News.
