MANILA — Party-list groups 4Ps, Duterte Youth, ACT-CIS, and FPJ Panday Bayanihan were the top picks of voters for the May elections, according to a survey by Social Weather Stations (SWS) released Wednesday.

The survey, commissioned by Stratbase and conducted from March 15 to 20, showed that 4Ps remains the top choice among respondents, garnering 10.44 percent.

"The sustained lead of 4Ps is largely attributed to its perceived alignment with the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, a widely recognized social welfare initiative that resonates with many low-income Filipino families,” Stratbase Group President Dindo Manhit said.

This was followed by Duterte Youth with 8.42 percent, ACT-CIS  with 5.29 percent, and FPJ Panday Bayanihan with 4.17 percent.

"Duterte Youth and FPJ Panday Bayanihan, on the other hand, benefit from their name association with well-known figures in Philippine politics and entertainment," Manhit explained.

"ACT-CIS also enjoys high rankings due to its association with popular media personalities who maintain significant public visibility,” he added.

The 4 party-list frontrunners were followed by the following:

• 5th — Ako Bicol (2.51 percent)

• 6th — Asenso Pinoy (2.45 percent)

• 7th — Senior Citizens (2.28 percent)

• 8th — TGP (2.05 percent)

• 9th — Agimat (2 percent)

A total of 156 party-list groups are vying for congressional seats in the May 2025 elections.

Earlier this year, poll watchdog Kontra Daya flagged 88 party-list groups or 55 percent of the running groups, for having ties with political clans, businesses, and military connections
