MANILA — Re-electionist Sen. Christopher "Bong" Go and ACT-CIS party-List Rep. Erwin Tulfo maintained their rankings as frontrunners of the Senate race based on a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey conducted in mid-March, the polling firm reported on Wednesday.

The SWS survey commissioned by Stratbase showed that Go and Tulfo tied in 1st to 2nd place with 42 percent of intended votes each.

The 2 frontrunners were followed by the following Senate candidates:

• 3rd to 4th place: Ben Tulfo and Tito Sotto (34 percent)

• 5th place: Lito Lapid (33 percent)

• 6th place: Bong Revilla (32 percent)

• 7th-8th place: Pia Cayetano and Ping Lacson (31 percent)

• 9th place: Bato dela Rosa (30 percent)

• 10th place: Willie Revillame (28 percent)

• 11th-13th place: Abby Binay, Manny Pacquiao, Camille Villar (27 percent)

The SWS noted that except for Lapid, candidates in the magic 12 maintained their rankings from February 2025.

The survey was conducted from March 15 to 20.

The respondents were asked: “Kung ang eleksyon ay gaganapin ngayon, sino po ang pinakamalamang ninyong iboboto bilang Senador ng Pilipinas?"

The most notable news that took place around the time of the survey was the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte and his transfer to The Hague in the Netherlands to face the International Criminal Court.
