The event also featured performances using lamps and LED lights, as well as a solidarity circle with Quezon City officials to demonstrate their support for climate action.

Participants expressed their enthusiasm for the cause. Damien Baladjay, one of the attendees, said, "Isa po itong way para mapakita natin kung paano nating i-preserve at makitulong para sa ating mother nature tska sa environment natin."

Paula Runio, who attended with her family, said, "Every year po talaga Earth Hour 'yung ginaganap po, talagang uma-attend kami. Kagaya po nito, meron tayong climate change, kumbaga pakikiisa na rin po 'yung pagpatay ng ilaw."

Aside from the switch-off, a donation booth was set up where people can drop off used clothes, shoes, and bags to help fund Quezon City’s tutoring program while also reducing textile waste.

There was the "Save the Planet, One Bottle at a Time," vending machine where people can exchange plastic bottles for rewards, encouraging recycling efforts.
