“’Yung mga ordinaryong Pilipino na nabibilanggo, walang ganyan mga pribilehiyo. Bakit natin siya bibigyan ng special na treatment o pagtrato? Nagpakita lamang ang korte ng tamang desisyon dahil walang espesyal na trato, lalung lalu na sa taong makapangyarihan. Ang pagtanggi sa House arrest ni Pastor Apollo Quiboloy ay siguro nagpapakita na… ang batas ay pantay-pantay para sa lahat, lalu na sa mga mabibigat na kaso,” Khonghun said.

“Yung batas, pantay-pantay, regardless of what stature in life mayroon ka. Mayaman, mahirap, may posisyon o wala… I’m sure kung mayroon naman valid reason para bigyan siya ng house arrest, ibibigay ng courts ‘yan eh. So, it only goes to show na walang valid reason,” Dionisio added.

Quiboloy, who is detained at the Pasig City Jail for human trafficking, has requested to be placed under house arrest in any of three locations: the Garden of Eden Restored in Tamayong, Davao City; the KOJC Compound in Sauyo, Novaliches, Quezon City; and Tagaytay City.
