Former senator Leila de Lima said Wednesday that the Senate can still function as an impeachment court even if the legislative body is on a break.&quot;Pwedeng magfunction pa rin ang Senate as an impeachment court kahit nag-adjourn, kahit walang regular session kasi &#x27;yung impeachment, hindi ito &#x27;yung ordinary legislative function ng Kongreso. Ito ay isang non-legislative function, special function ng Kongreso,&quot; De Lima said in an interview with TeleRadyo Serbisyo&#x27;s Johnson Ikwento Mo.&quot;So ordinarily, hindi maga-apply &#x27;yung mga nakasanayan nang proseso o patakaran na kapag nag-adjourn na ay wala muna dapat mga session...
