In an order dated February 12, 2025, Acting Presiding Judge Rainelda Estacio-Montesa said her court received information that a pre-recorded video was aired on February 9, 2025 at a gathering and prayer service of the members of the KOJC.

Quiboloy is running for senator while being currently detained at the Pasig City Jail for qualified human trafficking and child and sexual abuse cases.

"Accordingly, Atty. Israelito Torreon and accused Apollo C. Quiboloy are directed to SHOW CAUSE within five (5) days from receipt of this Order why the aforesaid video was aired on February 9, 2025 before the Court had the opportunity to review and approve the same, and posted on SMNI News Facebook Page, without a court approval, in clear violation of the guidelines and parameters set by this Court," Judge Estacio Montesa said.

Quiboloy, in an over 20-minute video shown during the tailend of the proclamation rally, said he wanted to correct the wrongs of the current administration. He also claimed that his senatorial campaign is "God's mission" for him.

Last Thursday, Quiboloy returned to the Pasig City Jail Male Dormitory after receiving treatment for pneumonia.
