MANILA — The administration’s senatorial slate, Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas, was gearing up for the second leg of their nationwide campaign in Iloilo City on Thursday. 

Iloilo, dubbed as the “heart of the Philippines” due to its geographic location, is one of the top 10 vote-rich provinces in the country.

The administration bets will hold a campaign rally at the open area of Gaisano Iloilo City Center on February 13, 4 p.m. 

The stage and other technical equipment have been set up while posters of the 12 senatorial candidates have been placed in various parts of the venue.

Marcos Jr. takes jabs at Duterte in pitch for admin senatorial bets

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is expected to attend later in the evening to deliver a speech.

There is no confirmation if the entire ticket will be present as of posting.

The admin bets in attendance will first hold a press conference at a hotel in Iloilo City at 1 p.m. before proceeding to the rally venue.

Iloilo was considered as a stronghold of former Vice President Leni Robredo for securing landslide wins in both 2016 and 2022 elections.
