Facebook/Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc.MANILA — The Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) on Tuesday, January 28, won the Outstanding Achievement for Advocacy Marketing at the 43rd Agora Awards held at Marriott Hotel.

KCFI Vice President Edric Calma graced the event to receive the award which is given to "companies excelling in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and advocacy marketing, emphasizing ethical practices, community development, and environmental preservation through impactful initiatives."

The Agora Awards is an annual recognition organized by the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) to honor exemplary individuals and firms that demonstrate exceptional marketing practices in the country. It was established in 1979.

This marks the first time KCFI has participated and won at the said prestigious award giving body.

KCFI recently celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2024 by renewing partnership with the Department of Education, with initiatives like providing transformative learning experience and basic education to young learners.

One of their recent efforts were launching the "Makabata Block", where three child-friendly and parent-approved programs were aired starting last August 5, 2024.
