Romeo Momo Sr. has resigned from the Bicameral Conference Committee overseeing the 2026 General Appropriations Bill following plunder and graft complaints filed against him. In a statement Saturday, Momo said his decision to resign from the bicam was &quot;neither easy nor impulsive.&quot;&quot;Let me be clear: this courtesy resignation is not an admission of guilt. It is an affirmation of the values that must guide every public servant,&quot; he said.&quot;I remain fully confident that the truth will prevail through the proper legal processes.
