<p>MANILA — Weekly primetime program &quot;Beyond the Exchange with Rico Hizon&quot; on ANC (ABS-CBN News Channel) placed 18th among Trendrod&#x27;s Top 40 &quot;Best Shows&quot; in Philippine television in 2024.</p><p>Veteran business broadcast journalist Rico Hizon expressed his gratitude for the recognition that his team received.</p><p>&quot;I am truly honored and humbled that Beyond The Exchange with Rico Hizon has earned a spot on Trendrod’s Top 40 ‘Best Shows’ for 2024 TV and Streaming Media list, ranking #18 among top entertainment, news and current affairs programs, just two months in!&quot; he wrote on a Facebook post.</p><p>He also thanked the production staffs behind &quot;Beyond the Exchange&quot;, the ANC management, and the viewers for their support.</p><p>&quot;A huge thank you to the incredible B-TEX team, ABS-CBN News Channel management, and of course, all of our viewers across cable and digital platforms. It is the top-notch business journalist&#x27;s official comeback on television and his first time working with ABS-CBN News.</p><p>It started November 5 in 2024.</p><p>Trendrod in its website stated that the program&#x27;s core power is &quot;Hizon’s flair in conducting interviews with different personalities of varying backgrounds.&quot;</p><p>&quot;His signature genial, yet insightful way of doing such talks are being excellently showcased in the program,&quot; it said.</p><p>&quot;This allows him and the program to truly go ‘Beyond The Exchange’ and not only talk about business, but also incorporate other facets of the people behind them,&quot; the commentary continued.</p><p>It also noticed how the show&#x27;s title was a &quot;clear nod&quot; to Hizon&#x27;s former business show &quot;The Exchange&quot; on now-closed CNN Philippines.</p><p>Trendrod&#x27;s &quot;Best Shows&quot; special feature just returned to &quot;give recognition to the best Filipino stories and content of 2024 in television&quot;.
