The Philippine National Police is expecting 1 million Iglesia ni Cristo members to join a peace rally at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila this Monday, January 13. &quot;Ine-expect ng PNP na isang milyon na INC members ang dadalo sa rally. Maagang nakipag-coordinate ang Iglesia ni Cristo...Magsisimula ang kanilang event 7am onwards,&quot; Police Maj. Wala pang coordination (kung darating ang Presidente),&quot; she said.Malacanang has suspended classes and work in government offices in the cities of Pasay and Manila on January 13 in light of a &quot;National Rally for Peace&quot; planned by religious group Iglesia Ni Cristo.The City Government of Quezon City made a similar announcement in solidarity with the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s rally.The NCRPO said it is deploying 5,000 personnel to secure the venue, routes and parking areas to ensure safety of participants. &quot;May naka-antabay ding NCRPO reserve force, anytime they can de deployed,&quot; she said. Police authorities are also discussing the possible use of signal jammers in the area depending on the situation.
