Niko Baua, ABS-CBN NewsMANILA —  Former Palace Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles on Friday appeared before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after she was summoned to shed light in its investigation into the alleged threats made by Vice President Sara Duterte during a press conference last month.

Angeles attended Duterte's virtual press conference on Nov. 23 as a "political vlogger."

During the expletive-filled press con, Duterte said she had arranged for President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., the First Lady, and the House Speaker to be killed in the event that she was killed first.

The NBI earlier sought the statement of 3 reporters assigned to cover the Office of the Vice President.

Duterte said her statement was "maliciously taken out of logical context." She is scheduled to appear at the NBI on December  11 over the same issue.
