A fire broke out in a residential area at Kalye Onse, Gahak-Marulas, Kawit, Cavite, Monday morning.

According to initial reports, the fire started at around 5 a.m. in one of the houses and quickly spread to nearby residences. Most of the affected houses were made of light materials, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
