MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday assured wards of the Manila Boys’ Town that the government has not forgotten them and their needs, especially this Christmas season.

The President traveled to the Manila Boys’ Town facility bearing food and hygiene supplies, as well as gifts for its residents, as part of his series of gift-giving activities every December.

“Wag ninyo isipin kahit sandali na kayo ay nakalimutan namin,” the President said during his visit to the Manila-owned facility in Marikina City.

Marcos Jr. urged wards and workers in the facility to remain resilient and give themselves time to enjoy Christmas despite hardships.

The Manila Boys’ Town is home to 754 wards, more than half of which are elderly Filipinos whose families could no longer care for them.
