The Holy Mass will be held at San Roque Cathedral in Caloocan City on Saturday, December 14 at 9 a.m.

The 65-year-old prelate is the country’s 10th cardinal. Among the Filipino cardinals, he is the third who has a right vote in a possible conclave to elect a pope, after Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, pro-prefect for the Dicastery for Evangelization, and Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula.
