MANILA — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has denied motions for reconsideration of 18 senatorial aspirants for the 2025 elections.

Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia said the commission en banc promulgated on Friday, November 29, its decision on nuisance cases of all the senatorial aspirants.

“Sa 183 aspirants for senators…yung 117 ay humarap sa mga kasong petition to declare them as nuisance candidates.

The poll body said it hopes to start the printing of the official ballots for the 2025 polls by the last week of December.

“The printing of the ballots will happen by the last week of December tulad nang nabanggit namin sa inyo that’s the earliest - the latest will be the first week of January.
