In a speech before military leaders during the AFP Leadership Summit at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City, Brawner said they received a subpoena from the PNP calling members of the VPSPG to be investigated.

The VPSPG currently has around 350 members. Brawner said they have yet to determine how many will be replaced.
