On early Saturday morning, Filipino siblings Janvi Maquindang and Christine Asa-Ca were gunned down along with Asa-Ca’s fiancé Edwin Garcia. Three dogs were also shot dead.

After the police arrived at the house around 1 a.m. Saturday, firefighters were also dispatched to the home to extinguish a fire.

Asa-Ac also served as a legal guardian to two younger siblings who were at the house during the tragedy.

The Maquindang family has started a GoFundMe page to help with the expenses and to help care for the surviving siblings.
