<p>MAYNILA — Pinalawak ng Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) ang mga benepisyo para sa mga pasyenteng may sakit o komplikasyon sa puso.</p><p>Apat ang package na para sa ischemic heart disease-acute myocardial infarction o kondisyon kung saan nagkukulang ng blood flow sa puso.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2024/12/2/filipinos-to-enjoy-new-enhanced-philhealth-benefit-packages-1841">Filipinos to enjoy new, enhanced PhilHealth benefit packages</a></div><p>Ayon kay Dr. Israel Francis Pargas, spokesperson at senior vice president ng PhilHealth, ang dating benepisyo na P30,000 para sa mga nangangailangan ng angioplasty ay itinaas na sa mahigit na P500,000. </p><p>“Kung kayo po ay magagawan ng procedure na tinatatawag na angioplasty, ayan po ay bayad na natin ng 500-plus thousand”, ani Pargas. </p><p>Saklaw din ng benepisyo ang cardiac rehabilitation na aabot sa P60,000 at fibrinolysis na higit sa P100,000. </p><p>“Halimbawa kailangan bigyan ng gamot is ngayon binabayaran na natin ng more than P100,000,” aniya.</p><p>Dagdag pa ni Pargas na kasama rin ang paggamit ng ambulance transfer para sa mga nangangailangan ng paglipat mula sa ospital na walang sapat na kakayahan para gamutin ang pasyente.</p><p>“Kasama na rin po sa benepisyo na binibigay natin ngayon yung transfer using ambulance at ito po’y binabayaran natin around P21,000 effective January 1,” dagdag niya.</p><p>Tinanggal na rin ang dating polisiya ng “single period of confinement” kung saan limitado lamang ang benepisyo kung muling ma-confine ang pasyente sa parehong dahilan.</p><p>“Kung mako-confine ka po ulit, you would need another angioplasty then that’s another package para sainyo,&quot; paliwanag ni Pargas.</p><p>Patuloy rin daw ang pakikipag-dayologo ng PhilHealth sa mga government at private hospitals upang matiyak na mabilis na nareresolba ang mga pagkakautang at patuloy na serbisyo para sa mga miyembro.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/1/10/private-hospitals-appeal-for-pending-philhealth-payments-1749">Private hospitals group appeal for pending PhilHealth payment amid expanded benefit packages</a></div><p> “Nagkakaroon po tayo ng tinatawag na reconciliation with our hospitals.
