MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed Atty Sharon Garin as Secretary of the Department of Energy.

Garin earlier stepped in as DOE Officer-in-Charge after then Energy Secretary Rafael Lotilla was reassigned as Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
